| Wow. Exams are over. Juries are done. I've been declared "piano proficient". Phew. Another semester has come and gone. I feel like I barely blinked, and all of a sudden it was December. Wow. Now I only have one semester of college left.

| The craziness known as finals is officially upon us. It's amazing how busy things can get so fast. Can I just ask where the heck the semester went?! I had a fun night of freaking out about how I was going to get everything done. Well, "freaking out" might be an understatement. Just trust me...it was bad. It was a little like this: crying and wondering, and crying, and laughing because I was crying so much, and then crying because I was crying so much, and being comforted by Aaron because I was crying so much, and then crying some more because Aaron was being so wonderful (did I mention I have an amazing boyfriend? ), and then basically crying some more. Well, after all of this, I got in my car, turned on the radio, and the very first thing I heard was, "Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say, 'Blessed be the name of the Lord. Blessed be Your glorious name.'" It was such an amazing reminder. I responded in the only proper way...I cried.

| "' I need you!' I sobbed. 'You can't die! You can't!'...
Father sat down on the edge of the narrow bed.
'Corrie', he began gently, 'when you and I go to Amsterdam - when do I give you your ticket?'
I sniffed a few times, considering this, 'Why, just before we get on the train.'
'Exactly. And our wise Father in heaven knows when we're going to need things, too. Don't run out ahead of him, Corrie. When the time comes that some of us will have to die, you will look into your heart and find the strength you need - just in time.'"
That's from The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. Even though the passage in particular is talking about death, I think it applies to so many situations. We so often want to run out ahead of God, but He knows precisely what we need and when we need it.

| Whew...college is hard!
You know what's harder? Being a person who's major love language is quality time, and being a senior in college.
Blech. College is hard.
God is so good. God is so very, very good.
